Dynamic young American composer and vocalist Caroline Shaw’s fresh and startling new sound won her the 2013 Pulitzer Prize in Music.  Her recent piece for mixed vocal and instrumental ensemble, This Might Also be a Form of Dreaming, was co-commissioned by The Playground, and received its Colorado premiere in January, 2017.

The Playground Ensemble performed the piece with Shaw and her vocal group, Roomful of Teeth at the Newman Center. Colorado Public Radio featured the piece on a podcast. Read more about it here.

Devoted to singing gorgeous and compelling choral music with a focus on recently composed works, Voices of Light is the Chamber Choir-in-Residence at the Festival of Faith and the Arts.

VOICES concerts are one hour in length without intermission.
