“The Playground is able to present concerts of outstanding music from the 20th and 21st centuries because of the commitment and dedication of our performers. No one knows better than I how much time and effort are required to prepare our music, since we always strive for the highest artistic level. The amount we pay our performers will never account for the countless hours they spend, but it is an important gesture of appreciation, and an acknowledgment of their dedication. Because of this, I would like the money my concert raises to support our artists’ fees.”
