Our Season

SEASON 13: Stories

Season 13 is a season of words, a season of personal stories, and a season that explores how music and words combine to enhance meaning.

With the season kickoff of Lee Hyla’s Howl, featuring the landmark poem by Allen Ginsberg, to Peter Maxwell Davies’ masterpiece 8 Songs for a Mad King, to concerts celebrating the contributions and creative efforts of our members, Season 13 is about narrative.

In addition to these masterworks, we want to celebrate two of our founding members: Richard vonFoerster, cellist and programming director will retire from playing after this season, and Megan Buness, soprano, is giving a recital to commemorate the anniversary of a loss.

Join us as we also dive deeper into our collaborative relationships with the poetry, storytelling and spoken word communities in Denver.
