The Playground is excited to collaborate with Control Group Productions and visual artist Adrienne DeLoe on their return to live in-person programming with After the Flood: a celebration of nature and local history/

 After the Flood takes 20 guests on a 1½ mile journey through the nation’s first urban floodplain park and a site tied closely to the worst natural disaster in Denver’s history – the South Platte flood of 1965. The work features live dance, theatre, music, and design created collaboratively. The performance invites guests to shift and deepen their connection with nature, recognize their interdependence with the land under their feet and the water flowing through it, and embrace their responsibility for stewardship.

After the Flood is a safety-conscious, family-friendly, accessibility-focused event.
Performances run June 3-19, Thursdays-Saturdays, with afternoon and evening showings.
